Holiday in a peaceful and unspoiled Dalmatian Village
South of the Neretva River Delta, 70 km north of Dubrovnik you can find Komarna on the coast of the Mali Ston Bay. From here there is a spectacular sea
view over reefs, cliffs and small islands to The Peljesac Peninsula.
The village is a friendly, unspoiled and safe place. Children may run around
without getting in trouble and the mix of local people and tourists is
just right.
You will not find many facilities in Komarna. One small hotel with a restaurant
that is open during the tourist season, one konoba (café) and a mini-market.
Next to the hotel and in Villa Komarna there is a fitness centre and a
swimming pool and a pool bar that you can get access to for a fee.
Three kilometres to the south is the holiday resort Klek and eight kilometres
south is Neum, the only seaside town in Bosnia-Hercegovina where there
is several big shopsrestaurants and hotels.
Komarna is also ideal as a base for sightseeing. Many historical places and world-class tourist attractions can be reached
by car within an hour. And close by there are several interesting and little
known places that are well worth your visit. Read more about this on the Sightseeing pages.
The beach in Komarna is 300 meters from Apartment Tedo. It is a pebble beach in a little bay protected from the west-wind and
where the water is safe for small children
