Our family had a very good experience in Komarna. The apartment is clean and amply furnished. The location is an excellent base from which to explore diverse destinations ranging from Dubrovnik to Mostar. And the tortoises proved to be a high point. Bring extra lettuce!

We just returned from our lovely holiday in Komarna. We enjoyed the peacefulness of this village, which reminded me of Podgora in the early seventies when I went there with my parents. On our arrival In Kormarna, Vanja (housekeeper) was there ready to greet us. The apartment was very clean and spacious despite having 2 teenage children. I enjoyed the 3 terraces as we could always seek shade no matter the time of day. We had our meals in the rear garden most evenings and made use of the BBQ. We hired a car for the whole 2 weeks and made use of this on a daily basis. We enjoyed our many trips into Klek for the beach and returned to Komarna on an afternoon to use the local beach only a few minutes walk away . The sea is beautiful to swim in and so warm in July/Aug. We also visted many places including Kravica waterfalls, ( a must)!  Orebic in which we caught a little boat to the island of Korcula. We ventured over the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina and visted Mostar and even travelled 3 hours to Sarajevo. We made use of the owners guide book and visted many places. Kormarna is ideally situated for both a relaxing and sightseeing holiday. Kormarna itself is a picturesque village and I miss my evening walk along the Seafront. Apartment Tedo is an excellent property to stay and would fully recommend to anyone! Many Thanks to the owners for a a fantastic holiday!!!

We truly liked your house, its locatation, the arrangement of the house and we found everything in the house you need to feel home. The view onto the sea and the vicinity of the sea all added up to a memorable holiday. Hope that Komarna will be the quiet beautiful little place with its friendly people. Who leave their things outdoors at night, and you have a feeling you can leave the doors open.

Thank you for the excellent holidays we had in your apartment in Komarna. Vanja was also very nice and helpful. We managed to visit Peljesac and Dubrovnik and many beaches places around Komarna. Your directories and red book was an excellent support. I hope that turtles in the garden survived, they were the main attraction of this holidays for our children.

I would like to thank you once again! We have been lucky to come across your house in a sea of Internet. My Mom fell in love with the apartment and the village itself. And Vasilisa said she woud like to stay there for a lifetime. I should add that we have traveled a lot and every time we rent an apartment for holidays we had to buy small things  for housekeeping like scissors or dusters etc. At your apartment to my surprise we had everything we could think of.

Just to say Thank You - we had a great time in Komarna. The apartment was comfortable, and nice & clean. Your information on surrounding area was very useful. We visited many of the suggested places - loved all of them with Kravica waterfalls being on top of the list of the best experiences ever (visited it twice in a week). We are even considering buying a property in Croatia but have not yet had a chance to explore this. Hope to visit Komarna again next year.

Absolutely beautiful location. Clear warm seas and two nice beaches. The accomodation was very comfortable and really accessible to the waterfront and beach. It had three terraces two at the front upper and lower lever and one at the back which was shared with the other four houses and with a very nice garden where the children could feed the tortoises. The rear area had a larger area for eating with barbeque.The different situations of the terraces meant that you had shade or sun at any time of the day depending on your preference. The house was spacious for holiday accomodation and not at all cramped.

Got back from Croatia yesterday and am just writing to say how much we enjoyed staying in your apartments and Komarna.  Vanja was very nice and helpful, and the meal we had in her restaurant was excellent.  i would definitely recommend your apartment and Komarna to people i knwo who are thinking of visiting Croatia.

What about complaints?

There are none - Not really. Some have mentioned that there can be noise from building activities outside the high season and that is true and not really too bad. The village is a very popular place and there is always a couple of houses under construction. During the high season from June to end of September noisy construction work is prohibited by law.
